User Roles

User Roles manages the shared role layer used across the Users module and related admin areas.

Main areas

  • Role table with name, badge, level, permission overview, and row actions.
  • Create modal for new roles.
  • Permission editor drawer for role-level permission updates.

Editable role fields

  • Name
  • Text color
  • Badge type
  • Icon class
  • Admin level
  1. Create a new role only when an existing role cannot model the needed access pattern.
  2. Set badge and level clearly so the role is easy to identify in the user list.
  3. Use the permission editor for role-specific tuning.
  4. Delete a role only after checking that no active account still depends on it.
