Account Settings

Account Settings is where you adjust your personal working preferences. Unlike Update Profile, this page is more about how the system behaves for you than about your identity details.

Common settings groups

  • interface language
  • timezone or time display preferences
  • personal notification choices
  • extra security such as two-factor authentication when available

Different projects may show slightly different options.

When should you use this page?

  • when you want the admin interface in another language
  • when time values need to match your working region
  • when you want extra protection on your account
  • when you want fewer or more alerts

Basic flow

  1. Open Personal Account.
  2. Enter Account Settings.
  3. Change the preferences you need.
  4. Click Save.

Two settings worth checking first

Language

If the interface is not in the language you are comfortable with, change it here first. It reduces mistakes and makes everyday work easier.

Security

If the project offers two-factor authentication, you should consider enabling it when:

  • your account has elevated permissions
  • the password has been shared or handed over before
  • the system handles important or sensitive data

Will you need to sign in again?

Not always. However, security-related changes can cause the system to ask for a fresh sign-in so the new settings take effect correctly.
