Posts Module

Posts is the largest content area in base-admin. This is where the content team creates new records, updates old ones, manages static pages, moderates comments, and operates the crawl flow for external sources.

  • Manage Posts: work with the standard post list, filters, bulk actions, and quick actions.
  • Manage Audio: operate audio content that requires attachments.
  • Manage Video: manage video records and their playback source URLs.
  • Manage Documents: handle download files and publication metadata.
  • Manage Notifications: operate short announcement-style content.
  • Manage Admissions: maintain content for admission campaigns.
  • Manage Events: manage event content and publishing schedules.

  • Post Detail: inspect a published or draft record in a mostly read-only view.
  • Post Categories: organize categories for the full post content area.
  • Post Crawl: pull content from a URL, translate it, and save it into the CMS.
  • Crawled Posts: review the crawled queue, sync status, and priority.
  • Crawled Post Detail: inspect one crawler record in a deeper route.
  • Pages: manage static pages with bulk publish and category actions.

Common working flow

  1. Open Posts Dashboard to understand post volume, comment load, and publishing schedules.
  2. Choose the correct content type in Manage, Audio, Video, Document, Admission, or Events.
  3. Use Create Post or Update Post for detailed editing.
  4. Stabilize taxonomy in Post Categories before large imports.
  5. If content comes from an external source, go through Post Crawl and Crawled Posts before syncing anything further.

How to choose the right screen

This module has a broad scope

Posts reuses several shared building blocks such as i-filter, i-contents, seo-box, media-selection, and quick-report. If your team wants a stable editorial process, standardize slug, category, and status rules first.
