Manage Video

Manage Video is used for content whose main playback source is video_url. In terms of searching, filtering, and changing status, this screen behaves almost exactly like the standard post management list.

Things to remember

• video records use Video URL instead of an attachment as the main playback source
• title, slug, category, excerpt, and SEO are still entered much like a normal post
• you should always verify the source link before publishing

Checklist before going public

• video_url still plays correctly
• the thumbnail matches the content
• the excerpt is clear enough
• published_at is correct if the video is scheduled

Management tip

If you handle many videos in a series, standardize the category structure and naming pattern from the start. That makes the list easier to filter and the dashboard easier to read.
