CMS Overview

CMS Overview

iSPA CMS is the admin area used by content operators, managers, and technical teams. If this is your first time using the system, think of this page as a map that helps you find the right menu section before you dive deeper.

How does the navigation menu work?

The left menu is grouped by job type. In simple terms:

  • the Introduction group is for new users and technical setup
  • the Admin CMS group covers shared areas such as dashboard and personal account management
  • the module groups below are for specific operations such as posts, media, menus, email, contacts, and users

If you open a module and do not see every feature that someone else has, the most common reason is permission scope.

What order should you read in?

If you are a content operator

  1. Dashboard
  2. Account
  3. the module you work in, such as Posts

If you are a technical implementer

  1. Installation
  2. Dashboard
  3. the key modules that must be verified after deployment

Screens you will use most often

  • Dashboard: the first place to check system activity
  • Account: profile details, password, and personal preferences
  • Posts: content creation, editing, and moderation

When should you come back to this page?

Return to CMS Overview when:

  • you are not sure where a menu item lives
  • you are onboarding a new staff member
  • you need a short explanation of the overall admin structure

Best reading approach for new users

Do not try to learn the whole menu at once. Follow the task you need to finish. If you need to change your password, go to Account. If you need the operational summary, go to Dashboard. If you need to publish content, go to Posts.
