Tags

Use this page to create flexible labels for questions. If categories are the formal grouping layer, tags are the lighter and more flexible label layer.

When should you use tags?

Use tags when you need to:

  • mark questions for a short-term campaign
  • label pilot or test questions
  • separate questions for quiz, survey, or internal review
  • find special question sets quickly later

What you see on the screen

  • search by name or slug
  • optional filter by type
  • Reload
  • Create
  • the tag list
  • Edit and Delete

The form is usually limited to:

  • name
  • slug
  • type
  • keep names short and readable
  • keep slugs stable
  • only use type if the team already has a naming rule for it

Examples:

  • peer-review
  • semester-1-2026
  • survey

Tag vs Category

  • use Category for long-term structure
  • use Tag for flexible labeling

A question may belong to one main category but still carry several tags.

If tags are created without a rule from the start, filtering and reuse become much harder later.
