Place Categories

The place category screen uses shared CategoryManage to maintain taxonomy for place records.

Main data and actions

• table columns for name, language, priority, and actions
• click the name or edit icon to open the drawer
• update priority inline from the list
• create new categories from the top action

Drawer fields

• slug-v3
• parent_id through a-cascader
• language_id when not locked by SEO rules
• SEO or API options when the account has the right permissions
• featured and status

When to use it

1. Reorganize the category tree for places.
2. Adjust priority ordering.
3. Define slug and language defaults for new categories.
