Create Item

Item Create is the main form for registering a new place-linked item.

Main sections

  • Basic: images and item name
  • Metadata: code, place_id, storage_id, established_by, status, published_at
  • Content: video_url, description, audio, is_confirmed, and i-contents

Important operational details

  • place_id is required
  • storage_id depends on the selected place
  • content supports text, image, and video plugins
  • audio is currently limited to 1 file in source
  1. Select the place before selecting storage.
  2. Use a stable naming rule for code, since it often maps to printed QR labels.
  3. Publish only after media and content are complete.

Items are often physical scan targets

In many deployments, an item is not just a descriptive record. It is a real QR target, so code, place, storage, and content should be reviewed more carefully than a normal editorial entry.
